A bit off topic. Was hoping to have the tractor done by now but Since the tractor is not in the warm garage and I need to work on the van. I have a 2003 Grand Caravan and have several clunks in the front suspension (76000 miles). Pretty noticeable when going over pot holes ect. Anyone had problems and had to work on one of these? What "typically" goes out on these suspensions? I had to replace on sway bar link already. Thanks for the help.

Re-check the sway bar links,or as the Chrysler techs call them "rattle rods".

Also there's a service bulletin to replace the front sway bar bushings.I've replaced ALOT of these.Have the VIN number ready as there are two different sizes.

As other said , sway bar links, very common . If still does it after replacing links, you're looking at lower control arm bushings. Usually the rear ones . Replaced a ton of them . BUT depending on parts avail , some are only serviced with replacement lower control arm . No bushing avail . Aftermarket arm kit runs $ 175 per side . Dealer wanted 320 per side .

I hope I don't need that much but do the lower arm kits include the ball joint?? Thanks for the help.

If you can'nt find anything else loose take a real close look at the sway bar bushings.
