Damn, just finished Christmas Eve with my family and my sister gave me John Deer machinery and tractor ornaments. Why could they not have been International or AC. Damn

Know the feeling.

A couple yrs ago my sister gave me a big print of a tractor in a hayfield.Yep,it was a JD. Don't know how well I hid the disappointment from my face.Heck I woulda been happier with a Mahindra!Being she lives in town,guess she never paid attention to the two dozen plus Olivers we have.

Where I use to work a salesman always brought cigarettes in to the man who smoked in our deptartment. The salesman always brought in a different brand every time he came. The smoker got up enough nerve to ask him; Why do you always bring me a different brand of smokes when you know what kind I smoke regularly? The salesman replied, this way you'll remember me and not the cigarettes.

Looks like to me your sister is trying to make you turn your head and see the spice of life - variety.
My problem is I like all the brands of equipment.

90% of whats on department store shelves is jd department stores stock what sells people buy quality so you might need to rethink this one this is why china is going under americans are demanding quality not quantity
