NH478 7ft haybine

Dear lads to Start I hope you all had a marry Christmas and are getting ready for the New Year. I like to ask your opinion on this I have a NH478 7ft haybine that I have pulled with my 60hp Deutz for years with no problem but I like to know if I could pull it with my Case DC-4. I never tried because the case was always on the rake I now I am going to rake with my friends’ COCKSHUTT 30 I just rebuilt for him I like to put it on the haybine but it has no hydraulics Matt

3 decades ago I used a 1966 Ford 3000 on a NH 469. It was all it wanted on the flat land. I am guessing it was 32 HP. The Ford 5000 handled it with ease, very nice match in heavy timothy and hills.

I am not familiar with a Case DC-4. The 3000 did not have live pto, but not a heavy disadvantage.

I ran a 990 IH 9' haybine for several years with my 1941 JD A with the original low compression pistons(about 30HP). Your DC4 should have no problem with a 7' haybine.
