anybody know of a place where to buy a under ground tank 325 or 500 and maybe even ship to house or ?

About where do you live? I can do some checking but most likely it would have to come through your local propane supplier.

Do they put Propane tanks in the ground ??? I have never heard of it around here [ pella,ia.]

I would recommend leasing the tank instead of buying it. My propane supplier leases a 1000 gal tank for $68 bucks per year and the installation is free (including underground). When you lease, the gas company is responsible for maintenance and upkeep, including leaks, bad valves, gauges, etc.

Dutchman there is a LP company about 70 miles east of you that buries them.

Our local coop was gonna buy out part of their route and went to inspect the underground systems.

After what they saw they did not buy.

It the fill valves are not set up right they can cover with water and freeze with noway to fill.
