Angle the camera down for night pictures. If you keep it like these fine shots at night all you will see is eyes in the distance. Experience speaking.

its called a wildview extreme. got it from gander mountain on sale for 59.00. had it set on high resolution, but it only holds 10 pictures that way. i didnt know that, but it has a slot where it will take a 2gb*sd card.(havent got a clue what that is). without the extra card it has 32mb.

the SD card is a flash memory card like memory stick or xD. i would read the manual and make sure that 2 GB is the biggest you can go, you might be able to go bigger.

if you can, just keep an eye out at Best Buy or Circuit City, you can pick up a 2gb or bigger SD card for under $20 sometimes on sales.

Good thing that you live on that side of Illinois, over in Bureau Co. you would be taking pictures of a black bear.

Deer hunters have gone high tech these days and
what you are seeing is a Deer Hunter in costume.
He finds it easy to get to area's and leave his scent everywhere with out bothering the other deer.
Also this costume keep the Rangers and other law enforcement officers off your back so you can hunt year round if you want.
GPS is not needed cause you will easily find out where other hunters might be in your area. So you don't get into a crossfire.

Got a friend that got a beautiful picture of a full grown cougar, broad sided, a few years ago.
That was when they first came out. His cost big bucks. That one picture was worth the cost of the camera though.

A couple of years ago, two deer hunting buddies of mine put a camera next to a deer trail on my place.

I didn't think of it in time, or I would have rented a gorilla suit and pranced around in front of the camera. They'd have filled their pants when they checked the pictures.
