May Rath Tractor

Yes, they do exist. A family mark they carry is the wheels are welded up like the Mayrath augers used. Certainly worth that price.

The Mayath dealer here years ago had one. Had a boom and weights on it to load auger sections when shipping. Worked fairly good but wasn't much to look at. Kind of home made looking.

To confirm what they looked like, look in the section to the left "Tractor Photos" and search for "Mayrath". There are 3 photos posted - interesting.

I have one it looks like the one shown on Tractor Photos not the one with the plow. I was at a auction at Garden City a few years ago one sold there, that was restored it had a small trailer with it sold for 5000.00 , I got mine from the son of a onetime dealer in Big Spring Ne.

The Mayrath is the most crudely built garden tractor I've ever seen. Kind of looks like something that was thrown together on a weekend with a few pieces of tubing and roundstock, some Crosley car parts and a few six packs. Anybody got a set of those wheels?

I'll be darned. Never heard of one before. I've got a Mayrath elevator and an auger. Didn't know they made a tractor. Learn something new everyday.
