Update on Low Oil Pressure on M

Thanks for all your suggestions that last time I posted. I followed up on them and didn't find any of the problems--no missing plug, oil pump is fine, bearings are correct--still hardly any oil pressure. I believe the problem may be in the rear bearing; when I shoot air through the oil line, a lot of air is coming out of the back. I also pumped oil through the oil pressure line and oil came out of the rear bearing. Where do I go from here? What is my next step? Any ideas?

May be time to drop the pan, remove rear main bearing cap and see what the bearing looks like.if it is badly worn ,you may have serious problems.

Bearings are brand new--we just overhauled the engine.

Is there a pipe plug behind the flywheel that wasn't installed when the engine block was cleaned? Hal

Have you used a micrometer and a bore gage to check the bearing clearance? (or at least plastigage) You may have received the wrong bearings. Front oil galley plug missing? New or wore out cam bearings?
