What ever happened to the geezenslaws

Still around!

The link is to their own sight. Interesting but not teribly informative.

Google 'em and look at the wikipedia entry to see that they've been up to all these years.

Every now and then I'll pull their twist on "Over the Rainbow" out of my hat, much to the chagrin of my fellow pickers.
Rat cheer

a group years ago that would dressed like hillbillies, the guitar picker had his guitar attached to his suspenders.(Ithink) He would drop the guitar while doing some wild pickin and it would drop almost to the floor and bounce back up and he'd never miss a lick. Anyone know who they were? I only saw them a couple times in the 50s and the guitar picker dropped his guitar on both shows.

You can see some of their stuff on U-tube. Copenhagen, Five Dollar Fine and Help,I'm White and I Can't Get Down are some of my favortites.

I have a tape of them. My favorite song is Peel Me a Nanner. Listen to that song its pretty good. Peel me a nanner, toss me a peanut, ill come a swinging out of a coconut tree, peel me a nanner toss me a peanut, you sure made a monkey out of me.
