I have some land that has a low ph and needs liming so i can establish grass for grazing, I have been looking for a small spreader that will distribute ag lime but they are hard to find using the suppliers applicator truck would allow me to only cover half the property becasue of the terrian. I saw mentioning of liquid lime and was wondering if any body has had experience with it

I have spread liquid lime. Not sure if you could do it with your farm sprayer as we used hundred gallons of water per acre. It works well in short run as it provides quick responce but it doens't hold ph as long. It's much more expensive. Haven't done it in years as it isn't cost effective. The other poster has a very valid point. If ya can't get there with a dry spreader you sure can't get there to spray it on!

Finn sells liquid lime it is called HLL we use it when we hydroseed. It comes in 2.5 gallon jugs.. We use 10 gal. per acre when we seed...
