6 ply 5.00-15 front tires? or other heavy duty options?

Hi, I am looking for a way to get heavier duty tires on the front of my massey harris 30 tractor with a front end loader on it. It currently has 4 ply, 5.00-15 firestone tri-ribs, on a narrow front end, but the tires seem to be working at their max capacity, with the loader and in the terrain where it is used. I think a change to 6 ply fronts would be a vast improvement, but the 15" tires I've searched through are only 4 ply. Any suggestions to help me get some higher capacity tires under my tractor?

You might have to go for a light truck tire. Problem is how wide can you go before you get in trouble with rubbing, or too close for clearance in mud, etc. I"ve had to do some creative sizing for replacement tires on my farm wagons too. One of my grain box wagons (gravity box) looks rediculous with low profile sports car tires! Problem is that they"re all going to larger diameter rims, even on cars.

Those are not a hard size to find Just where do you live. You sure dont need a heavier tire on that small tractor as it sure isnt made for lifting heavy stuff be careful so you dont upset.

Why don't you try to find wider rim width wheels that will fit your hubs or get your regular wheels widened by a welding shop then you can fit the available wider heavier ply tires for loader use. Early JD B's had small tires too but you could fit the later larger wheels and then use bigger tires.
