Got To Play In The Dirt Today

I have been fixing up this old plow and wanted to try it out before I painted it. A neighbor said I could come down and plow some of his creek bottom to shine it up. I called him at noon and he said to come on down. It was kinda wet, but I got it to scour fairly well. Now I can give it a good wash and then paint it. Definately have to have more weight if I'm going to take it to a plow day! Pulled it in 3rd though. Chris

Just curious, what is that mounted on or next to the steering pedastel?

Hi, Nancy. The black box on top is a monitor for my cornplanter. I haven't taken it off yet, I'm going to have to replant about 10 or 15 acres of beans, so I'll need it then. The tractor has a Char-Lynn power steering unit added to it, so the monitor is mounted on the torque generator bracket. Sorry it's not a better picture, but gives you the idea. Chris

Thanks for the reply. We've got 2 JD 70 gassers and 1 diesel. Just wondered what that gadget on top was.
