Tomorrow will bale hay off of field ,, Then intend to Broadcast all Urea nitrogen needed for Corn in this field , Followed by light discing/scarifying Grass and protecting N depletion from hot sun until plowed in , Then 12 -16 inches chisel plow for hard pan problems ,1st time ever plowed since 1989... QUESTION ,, Will too much of the N get down too far below the corn roots to do any good for the corn ?,,. I would broadcast after chiseling but My Flimsey 3pt arms on my tub spreader have a tendancy to break out in ROUGH a$$ground ...I am betting there is no CLEAR Answer , But would appreciate your thoughts ... thanx jim
