JD 430C to 435C

How much is there different between a John Deere 430 and a 435? How much would a guy have to switch between a 430C and a 435 to buld a 435C? I"m not planning on doing one right now, just thought it might be a fun toy to have if a guy had the time to build it.
 
Unless some has already done, the first step to find out if it was possible would be to get parts books for both tractors and compare the engine supporting pieces to see how many matched and how many transmission and frame pieces would need to be found.

Should be some 440 ICD models around the junk yards ? There used to be several of them in the yards around here in Ohio.
 
Never was a 435C. There was a 440 in gasoline or diesel. Diesel was a 2-53 S series not a 2-71.
The 435 ag tractor was a 440 industrial with ag sheet metal rather than a 430 diesel.
 
very, very easy thing to do, but you're doing it the wrong way. You NEVER want to put a GM diesel on the weaker 430C gas chassis.

Buickanddeere is dead on. All you got to do is put 435 sheetmetal on a 440 crawler, then you have a "435C". It would be interesting looking with the AG Green and Yellow scheme... If you can get two junker tractors and make a 435C, GO FOR IT!
