O/T Cool Idea

My boss had a cool idea (pun intended). She decided it was time for some employee appreciation. She took chocolate chip cookie dough and formed large, 4 in x 4 in cookies, baked, then chilled. When chilled she made "ice cream sandwiches" by putting about 1 in of Bluebell chocolate chip ice cream between two large cookies. She brought enough of these homemade sandwiches for everyone in the office. YYYYUUUUMMMM!

It does make you feel good in this day and time with the economy like it is! We just an employee to retire after 53 years with the company ( he started at 19-20 years of age)! It was the Friday before Memorial Day and the guys at the body shop cooked up some Boston Butts! Some of the ladies did "tater salad,beans, slaw etc and it was some kinda good! It made me lazy about going back to work after eating all that good food. The best thing your Boss can do is to show a little appreciation on occassion and it goes a long ways.

YES!!!!!!! I got an expensive belt buckle and don't have to worry about it getting wet.

Blue Bell does that with chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies. They call it a country cookie.

When I retired after 30 years the guys I worked with got togeather and gave me a watch, Hat and a union "t" shirt. the Company didn't give me Ziltch. So when they wanted me to come back and work part time to help them out I had to decline. Thats what most Companys think of you, are just a number and when you leave they just get another Number to replace you.
