Book on Diesel Injection Pumps and Injectors

Can someone recommend a good techical book on Diesel Injection Pumps and Injectors? I have John Deere 2510/2520/4320 tractors and I would like to learn a lot more about the pumps and injectors, how they work, how they are set up, how they are tuned to a horsepower, how they are timed to the engine, what tools and testers are needed, etc. I believe these tractors have Rosa-Master pumps on them. I looked on Amazon.com, there appears to be many books, some very expensive. So, if someone had a starting recommendation I would appreciate it. Paul

this might get you started. I think Stanadynes are similar to Rosa-Masters.

Another good text is Diesel Mechanics. I think mine is the third edition... but the fourth is available on Amazon. The third I ahve from ~15 years ago covered all basic fuel systems of the time in terms of operational theory, etc. It's not deeply system specific as it does generalize, but it's a good text.
I would imagine the fourth edition goes into more on the electronic systems as well...
