I have the same problem. In my case the bellcrank bushings or bearings have long since gone. How do I replace them? Do I need to drop the whole axle assembly? There is a large nut and split pin that hold the part in place and there appears to be no room to lift the crank once the nut is removed.

Thanks - it's what I thought. I'll use the loader to lift the front end. Do the pivot pins need to be pushed out once the retaining nuts are removed?
