You might want to observe your bull more closely to see if he enjoys sniffing the hind parts of his own gender. If so you've inherited a rejected transplant from one a abundant state.
 
How old is this bull and how long have you had him ? Have you talked to the seller about this ? How many cows do you expect him to service ?
 
Don't know these folks but I have to ask, what's the story here?

Did he pass a BSE before you bought one and not after? Do you think the copy of the BSE you got when you bought him is fake or what?

Just wander'n what the rest of the story is.

There are some things that can cause temporary sterility in a bull, stress, temperature, under or over condition etc. I would wait 6 weeks and have a vet do a performance test on him to see if he is truly sterile or just temporary.
 
2 year old that the sellers tested and provided test results, did not breed one cow and was told too bad afterwards, If someone wants to calve in a 60 day window waiting 6 weeks is not acceptable, bull was tested a few days before being turned in with cows so I doubt injury was an issue, more likely selling marginal breeders. I will never buy from someone that does their testing again so for you smart a$$es that had all the answers about buying and not testing that was not the case, have had cattle for many bulls and this is not the first bull I have bought, just trying to save someone some problems, cows were healthy and well maintained, would you like me to send you the vet statement affirming this?
 
Ouch.

I know a guy who had his bull tested week before turn out and he was fine. Turned him out for 45 days and got him back up. Month later noticed cows were still cycle'n. He had missed every one and when re-tested by a good vet he passed again. All I can say is some times things happen. Good luck. Hope you and the seller work out some kinda deal that lets both of you sleep at night.
