Top Link

Any category 1 top link will work. I think the last ones I bought for the small tractors were 16" but I can't remember. You can get all different lengths for different implement applications, but if you get one that is somewhere in the middle of the range it should work for about anything.
 
My IH2444 has a cat 2 pin on the tractor end and a cat 1 pin on the implement end of the top link.

Lower arms are cat 1 and this is factory.

The upper link and lower arms on the 2444 can be either cat one or cat 2. Just flip them end to end to switch to the other size.
 
Somewhere there is an evil genie with a collection of thousands of top links. Practically every used tractor I have seen for sale has the top link missing. It must be a conspiricy!
 
That size is for catagorie 0 for garden tractor. Just out and measured an orignal flat bar type and 25" short and 26 1/2" long.
