What I want. Who will build it?

A pulltype mower/conditioner or haybine that will raise more than two feet high.
A reel that will raise out of the way like a combine.
And how about a reverser.
I sure got tired of lying on the ground today trying to unplug something I couldn't reach.
Seems to me if someone were to build such a machine he would soon corner the market.

I hear ya

Which ever company comes out with a shaving cream can top that aint slippery (knurled cap) so that I can take the top off with wet hands will make a fortune.

It already exists, a discbine. No reel, they never plug, only thing is they don't quite raise two foot. That does no matter tho as you never have to crawl under them.

We had one of the first disc bines out,we were used to running a swather.I can remember saying if they could only put that disc bine in front of a swather, man you would really have something.I could have been rich if i wouldve acted on it.

Are you wanting the mower and reel to raise due to crop conditions, or just to allow for more access when it plugs? Maybe look into buying an older self-propelled swather with a conditioner? Makes life a lot easier for cutting hay, only disadvantage is narrower windrows so the hay takes a little longer to dry.

Reverser? As in reverse running PTO option? Check the AC board- a reverse option sort of on a couple models, put transmission in reverse and PTO driving off transmission will spin backwards, was a handy feature to use on the AC pulltype combines, some other equipment. Massey-Ferguson may have had something similar, seem to recall thread on it awhile back, option on PTO selector as independant or transmission drive. RN

Which AC ever had something like that? The pto is not driven off the transmission- it is driven off the input shaft to the transmission. None of them run backwards.

Yep. I only fight them round slick tops one time each, the first time. When it comes off the first time in the trash it goes, right on top of the empty can.
