Alternator tach drive

I have a delco alt. with a mechanical tach on the back on my Uni harvester. The fiber type gear that drives off the alt gear is wore out. Where can I find a new gear with shaft, it is not available through AGCO with a New Ideal part number (704567) I know some tractors used them too, are they the same tach drive, and are any available. Thanks

Might look into just putting an electronic tach on it if you can't find the part.

The thought crossed my mind about an elec. tach, but any automotive tachs are such a large range, and I only run 2000-2500 rpm. But If I don't find I guess I can do it with elec.

Delco alternator repair shop? Delco made the thing.

Allis Chalmers used that Delco 10DN alternator with cable tach drive on tractors. Might find one at a salvage yard or possibly rebuilt at an alternator shop.
