Spark plug wires

I have a C65 Chevy366 that need to have spark plug wires replaced. Does anyone have a recommendation on what type to use and where to buy?

I usually go to the local hot rod shop. The stuff costs about the same and the quality is higher. Higher temp ratings and spiral wound instead of graphite core which fails on occasion.

I dont think you can go too wrong with those Bosch premium plug wires (most auto shops carry them), they are a grade higher quality then the store brand n maybe not as expensive as a specialty or hot rod shop. Unless youre running a super high energy after market ignition with wide plug gaps and much higher then normal firing voltages, you dont need those real expensive superior grade plug wires.

Thats my story n Ima stickin to it

I serviced a lot of those engines in trucks running on LP.

The OEM Delco wires were the only ones that would take the heat around the spark plug boots. On all the others the boot would get hard and the wires would break when you tried to remove them. As long as you did not have to remove them they worked fine.

Be sure the heat shields are in place around the plug boots. I've seen wires destroyed in as little as five miles miles when the shields are missing.
