I've really earned a new respect for tractor mechanics since working on a project the better part of the summer. Even the jobs that should be a snap always seem to develop their own little wrinkle. Nuts and bolts are a little tougher, parts are heavier and there always seems to be some rust to add to the challenge. It's pretty amazing to open up the rear covers and see some really fine pieces of steel and iron that have spent a lifetime bathed in oil and other than a bushing, bearing or seal they're ready to serve future generations. Thanks to everyone for answering my questions. I just have to give mEl from the Case forum an extra special thanks, what a wealth of knowledge you have. Thanks to all you tractor guys (and gals).
