co-op E3 ceeaper gear

Have a co-op e3 not stuck when bought in feb put cover on stack picked up 3 monthe later it's stuck I have it on chain hoist with hook on rear wheel at 3;00 position to put pressure on motor. Problem is I don't know which position the lever should be in to have highest gear. Is back slow or is pushed fordward slow???? Have regular stick in 4th

remove starter and get a bar on the ring gear, this will do way more than the scheme you're trying

My recollection is forward is fast. Forth gear fast 12mph, slow 6.5mph.

Always use the highest gear possible as you are doing reverse of engine input.

already tried that just want to leave constant pressure over winter with atf fluid in cylinders Thanks Bill
