I have an old tractor I got out of a woods and would like to know what it is. Any ideas? It has a Chrysler 6 cyl. industrial engine in it. It is going to be for sale when I know what it is. I have a picture of it on Help Identify Gallery. Can send more pictures just email me at [email protected]
Thanks, glenn

You have a Grahm Bradley tractor. My brother in law has one. They were sold by Montgomery Wards Stores right after World War Two.
they are a nice tractor.

Glenn: You'll want to review the history of the original CO-OP #2 and #3 (Duplex, The Co-Operatives, Arthurdale) and the FARMERS UNION CO-0P (St Paul/South St Paul etc C0-Operatives) which devolved into Custom/Lowther, who built and sold under a batch of names, incl Wards (but NOT the Wards Twin-Row)
There's an excellent little piece on Custom online in Antique Power magazine (I didn't note the date) but it'll come up on Googling Custom Tractor.
Have fun trying to figure out which one you have...or which Chrysler Ind'l is in it...
Do not confuse with the Cockshutt CO-OPs.

MMJ2: You"re probably thinking of the Graham Bradley tractor built by Graham Paige (the Graham car builder) either sold to or marketed by Sears as the David Bradley pre-warand/or thru 1945 or so.
It had 6cyl Graham engines pre-war, which were actually Cont"ls with Grahams heads etc added.
I"m open to correction if any or all of that"s wrong...

I found a serial number on my old tractor. It reads B2-338. I am told it is a CoOp tractor. There was only about 500 of these made!It is for SALE so anyone interested in it I am open to a reasonable offer.
