Speaking of visiting on the post below, Gary, update us on the corn harvest. Looks like it will be clear there today. Rained here last night.

We got 3 inches of rain on Thur and Fri.

Water is still standing in the field. No harvest today and I doubt tomorrow. Calling for rain again Sun nite.

Maybe Mon we can get back at it if the rain misses us on Sunday.

Got about 70 acres of corn combined and it is okay as far as yields. Very wet grain to be harvesting but it's time to be getting it out.

1/4 inch last night. May be an opportunity to cut hay this afternoon and get it dry first of week. Supposed to have temps around 70. Hope you can get that corn in soon. Wagon sound like a good winter project.

last sunday wasnt bad, corn was 21%, but the replant spots were 38%. with the rain this week, it 'll be deer food for a while yet

Here in southern MN, haven't seen more than an hour of sun in the past 3 weeks. Seriously.

Temp been beteween 45 & 25 the whole time, 2 days have poked up near 60.

Pretty much rain every other day. Anyhow in a 5 day period, we have always had at least 2 days of rain. Not really heavy rain, but a few 10th to almost an inch.

Corn is hovering at 30% moisture. I've heard a few found a field at 23-25%, but as many still have 36% corn.

Beans I've heard got as low as 15%, most were getting 17% or so beans.

There is far more crop left in the field than is harvested. I took out corn end rows is all. Some have not started yet. Some got 1/2 way or so, but it is a terrible wet crop & not very profitable at these moisture levels.

Big rain/snow event should come through 2nd half of this coming week. Should rain this evening into Monday morning.

November can be nice in a rare year. Often snow comes & stays somewhere in Nov. We've had a blizzard the last day of Oct that never melted away until spring.....

Kinda grim feeling out this way.

Cut hay. It is Common Bermuda that was fertilized heavily with turkey litter and then had rain. Very thick, half knee high in spots. Tough to cut sometimes even with the disc mower.

Hope those that could got some corn in. There is a lot of it out there.
