Have you ever seen or heard of this tractor?
I am waiting to go to work and was looking around on the computer and this is what I found.
I am wondering what country they are in? If I am ever thinking of being a tractor collector I would have to have one.

Be nice to drive in winter, easy to heat-houser it! Need a few more weight sets up front if you put an aftermarket 3pt on it tho....

Neat looking old tractor; love this red spoke wheels.

Maybe [b:654c4848f0]Dave2[/b:654c4848f0] can translate for us; sounded like they were speaking German.

Thanks for sharing the video with us.

Cool tractor!

Have to agree with Paul, think it would get light in the loafers without some front wheel weights.

Looking at the houses and the way they talk, it's close to my area. The tractor is a DDR (East German) version of the Fendt Gerate trager (equipment carrier). UsuALLY NOT NAKED BUT HAS AT LEAST A DUMP BED ON FRONT: i#LL TRY TO FIND SOME MORE PICS TOMORROW:

From the sound of it, and the smoke in the early part of the video, I'd say it has a 2 cylinder 2 stroke engine in it. Sounds a lot like a Mercury outboard, out of the water.
I wouldn't want to plow all day with that thing! For one, you'd be deaf by the end of the day, and for another your shins would be roasted! You did see the radiator position, right?

My guess, is that it featured mid-mounted tools, like a AC model G. Motor sounds a lot like a badly tuned lawnmower!

A little later model... Just click the link below the pic for more. Could also be that the one in your video had homemade steering to replace the extra gearbox required to free up the area for a bed. The DDR folks made a lot of stuff themselves.

And one with the bed.
