Feeling better today, was running a fever of 104F yesterday.

Had it about 5 or 6 weeks ago. Worse than anything I've had in 25 years.
Had to sleep on an air matterss with an old comforter as I was sweating so badly everything was wringing wet. Tore me up!

Glad you're better. Vitamin C will give your immune system a boost. Take some if you can keep it down.

There are a number of thing you can do/take that may help. Nancy hit on one already but also zinc helps and eating hot pepper help a lot. Not often you ever see a sick Mexican
Did not and do not know a single person who's had it. Last week at check up, my doctor said its all media hype. He's not seen any more sick people than any other year. A few schools have closed for "flu like symptoms". Pretty good idea, have you and all your buddies call in with "symptoms" so school gets closed. I personnally feel its media using hype to distract the mindless public from what the current admin is doing.
I'm kinda thinking the same way.
Must have an affect on the new health system.

# 2 make people think there will be a shortage of a nnalert.
#3 Sell enough nnalert to make huge profit.
And finialy say as they did on the news this after noon the pandemic is over.
Now we have to watch out for the second strain that follows in the spring.

Just starting to feel some strength again. It"s been about a month since I first had cold symptoms.
Had a hacking cough for a while then I felt better. Worked outside for about 2 hours and then the flu really hit... fever, aches, chills, weakness, etc.
It was a bad one. I think I caught it from 2yr old step-grand-daughter. She started with a running nose about 2 months ago.

Our grand daughters MD told us the H1N1 came through here (NW Alabama)starting about two months ago and the 4 Doctor office was swamped for a few weeks and stayed open past regular hours several days.He went on to say business was back to normal and that none of their flu patients developed complications requiring hospital treatment.Of course the news media wouldn't air or print an interview with him.The H1N1 nnalert isn't available here yet and the seasonal flu nnalert is in short supply.My sister works at a pharmacy that was expecting 500 doses last Tuesday,they only received 90 and no promise of when they'd get more.Good luck everybody!

I did not have the swine flu, but I had some other flu/sickness that took a LONG time to get over. I'm finally feeling better now.
