Revenue sharing on youtube

Youtube sent me an email message stating that two of my videos were eligible for "revenue sharing". I read the rules and really didnt like the whole deal since they wont tell you exactly how much money is actually involved.

Have you guys done it? How did it work out?

I'm thinking its just one more group to have your personal information for no reason.
 
There is no one on the internet who wants to share THEIR revenue with you but MANY who want you to share YOUR revenue with THEM.
 
I was accepted too and tried it out. I have made $16.96 off of it without doing a darn thing. Making money for not doing anything is pretty nice.

You make money for every time someone clicks on one of them adds they put on your video. Not sure how much really, Its pretty random. I"ve had it for 2 weeks now. But your not allowed to click on your adds or that will end making anything.

Lemme guess, you provide your name, bank and account number and they'll deposit the money directly, right?

How about you and me entering into a revenue sharing program? I go to your webpage and hit those ads 100 times a day and then you send me half the money youtube sends you. Again it costs you nothing...or so they tell you and I"ll make money too. Maybe a whole bunch of us here can help you out, while helping ourselves...we"ll call it the farmers pyramid scheme...whata ya say? We"ll all get rich!
