Found out what was wrong with our HM236 Mower

I just started mowing this past week and not 100 yards off the mower locked up. I found what was wrong. I have to say the service manual makes it look like you can work on this thing pretty much by yourself. I have to say its wrong, these parts are heavy.

are the centers made of plastic or is it just the lighting? bill m.

they are stainless i believe. They feel to heavy to be aluminum.
