Mobil Upperlube bottle

last night my wife wanted me to get some papers that had fallen behind the secret door in the living room, it goes under the staircase.
While digging out all the stuff in there I found this bottle. I have never seen one like it, about 3 in. high. I didn't know that Mobil made an upperlube. Anyone ever used or heard of the brand of upper lube.

yep...all the major oil companies still had their own versions of snake oil back in the 50-60's...they quit making so much after feds made us start using white gas [unleaded].

Yes, I used a lot of it on the farm. Had an old JD model A and when it was used on a light load or just idling, the valves would squeak a little, but when I put about 4 ounces of upperlube in a 15 gal tank of gas, it would never squeak. The last time I bought some it was a 5 gal can. Had some left when I retired from farming. My son got the model A and the upperlube went with it.
