Some Cooler Pictures

Here is what south central Kentucky looked like after this weekends storm . We got app. 5 inches, but we had some wind which created some drifts . All in all , it was pretty , but it's supposed to be real cold the next few nights ,near 0 ,but warming up into the mid 40's , as the week progresses .The snow wasn't as bad as predicted . Was calling for 5-9 inches , but we managed to get by with the least.

Not sure ,the fact she's a girl dog is all that I know for a fact. Her name is Blackie . She was a stray that showed up here about three years ago and adopted us. She's very friendly. Always wanting someone to pet her, though. Half of her tail is missing and one of her eyes is two different colors. As for what kind of dog she is I don't know . She looks to be part chow and something else . She's a mixed breed, in other words. The chow part is pretty much definate, as others have noticed it.

Here is another picture of her.

Cute dog, we also have a Chicuagua ( however you spell it ) inside the house. Her name is Brownie , she was named that when we got her. She is brown and white and colored up like a deer. The four legged kind , not the green kind. She is about her size.

Definitely "cool" pics. But that is part of the cylce of the seasons. Thanks....

Tried to explain to my grandson Wyatt yesterday how winter helps us appreciate spring and summer. He partially "bought" it, I think. We live up here on the NY/PA border but Wyatt is definitely a spring/summer kid. He's all about just shorts, tee-shirt or swimminmg suit.
