wondering if anyone ever had a 2 year old boar pig made into brats or anything else for meat and the flavor was good or any other good idea John
 
If you use a huge amount of spice and make sausage/brats etc you might be ok. You still will probably be able to taste him. I would castrate and butcher in about 6 months. If this is a wild boar you can't hardly do anything to it to get it edible. I have ground up wild boar and mixed 2 to 1 with venison and it still wasn't good. I will only shoot about a 100lb sow now. They are good eating.
 
If he's a blooded hog cut him and feed him till he heals or is fat. Cure the hams and shoulders, fry the ribs, grind the rest, can't beat that aged hog meat.
