Video of me plowing the 22" of snow I got this past weekend. Of course it is snowing like crazy again here in the Mid-Atlantic Region, so I'll be plowing again tomorrow. Think spring!

I'm a half mile north of the Laurel, DE town limits. (10 miles from Salisbury, MD) Walking from the back door to the tractor - the snow was knee deep. The video I posted was mostly where I was just trying to get out from where I parked the tractor. That snow was so heavy that I could mostly pack it down solid as I drove over it. I did have fun though. I spend 8 hours plowing out friends and neighbors on Sunday and another 4 hours on Monday finishing half of my driveway and a a couple of neighbors circular drives. I refused money from everyone - But still ended with over $200 for "Gas Money" or gift cards.

A longer video is on my YouTube account, but I linked just the tractor video for all of you. One of these days, I'll have a proper workshop to work on the 444. It needs some TLC, but runs fairly well and she sure has earned her keep the last week. I probably got another foot of snow today, so tomorrow morning I'll be back at it.

Funny thing is, I was thinking of somehow building a frame and mounting a front plow blade on - But I reasoned with myself and figured I never get enough snow for that to be worth it. I am still trying to get my back and neck twisted back around to the left.

Mark, Did you find the longer version? The 10 minute version had lots of commentary - although I cut out the part where I got my truck stuck trying to get to the tractor to jump start it. I teach Band and Theater here at Laurel HS and as part of my Advanced Theater class I teach Video Production. I am learning the new software on the new MacBook. I was able to get this MacBook and a small camera through a technology in education grant. The plan is that I can teach others to be able to tape lessons and post easily for students to review later. I can say that was pretty easy to put it all together, even with titles and all of the fun stuff.

Maybe this spring and summer I'll do a couple of videos in the garden. I'm good friends with our schools Horticulture teacher, and she can use them in class as well.
