Well, we got some record breaking snowfalls around here - not exactly here. Some areas in the state had some pretty deep ones. Last year we got a lake effect off Lake HURON - 15" in one fell swoup. Some areas south of here rivaled that. We were in the 6" to 8" area this time. Spent 4 hours behind the wheel of the old 4wd drive truck pushing this afternoon. An hour on the 3 of the neighbor's. Rest on my drive and barnyards. At least I can feed and water the critters with out wading thru snow now. That got old real fast this morning. They closed all the schools around today. But county plows and individuals like I have pretty well opened things up now so back to the grindstone tomorrow. We're pretty used to diggin' out! I was supposed to subteach today, but lost that one. Probably won't be any one off tomorrow - they had a day off today! My back aches - that old truck doesn't ride as good as it used to. Plus I had taken all the grain out of the back, so had no ballast on the back - not a good plan. Time to get a load of grain again. Got some pretty high piles of snow around there now!
