Anyone used one??? My biggest need would be checking to see if horses are in the pasture at 200 yards.

Doesn't say how many candlepower it is. i have a 12 led crank light and i doubt it would light up that far. Mine will only light up maybe 30 yards. i think i would spend maybe 30.00 and buy a rechargable light with 1 million of more. i bought a cheap one through my auto parts store with 2 million and i think it cost me under 35.00 and it will go that far. charge doesn't last very long but i keep its charger handy. it would last long enough to check horses.

Doesn't answer your question (so what else is gnu), but I'd go with a rechargeable 12V. Kept one in each vehicle when I had cattle. 1,000,000 cp can be found for less than 10 bucks. Last one I bought is 15,000,000 cp; you can see the moon with it!!!! This is not the same one I've got, but it's similar.....

I have a 2 million cp rechargable. It's been around a while. Check around, there may be up to 4m cp handheld out there. My 2m probably would pick up light colored animals at 200 yds, but I doubt that it would show up a dark animal. It probably would show the eyes out to 400-500 yds. C.L.
