Ot Question for the model T Ford experts

I have a buddy with a model T Ford with a bad starter, I just need to know the procedure for removing the starter, I can't believe its too difficult but there must be a secret to it as it has the old style Bendix drive and it is not as straightforword as unbolt and remove.

Work thru floorboards, 1st remove bendix cover, then bendix from starter motor shaft, then the starter motor can be removed.

round rod shaped like the letter "Z"...correct? :)
And of course, it was that change that ruined mans driving experience forever, since even a female can push a button! :twisted:
 
After shoulder surgery I wish my wife could crank the T. It usually cranks on the second pull, but at times it can be very "cranky".
