tractor identification

I picked up this tractor ,while looking for another project .The guy said home made rail tractor .looks like a gibson ,but has model A rear end and wheels,indipendant rear breks,farmall looking rims ,with cleavland hub caps ,wisconson aF/5.4hp engine ,has starterand generator ,ampmeter starter switch on steering collum ,I believe it started out a foam green in color , .This tractor is very well thought out and well built for what it is ,anyone Know the make

Yep, it is home made. Those rails look too wimpy to be Gibson, probably came from the car that furnished the shortened rear axle. A truck tranny, a gear reducted Wisconsin and a passenger car steering column. Home-brewed, but well done!
 
Thanks for the input ,,But im thinking a kit from way back ,dont know .But it runs now ,sounds good,carb needs some work ,float is stickin ,cleaned it twice ,maybe drive it tomarrow .does look kind of cheesy though ,but older than dirt and loud,a real ear snapper
