They plow like crazy with 2 bottoms!
That particular lever is a Sherman "Step Up" aux. tranny; give you a higher range.
If it had a shorter more dog legged lever with a smaller knob it would be a "Step Up/Down" giving you one lower range and one higher!
Those aren"t this year, not that nice yet...my Father plowin in both pics

can't believe those trees have leaves on them . not even close to that in Va. and a friend in Ga. hasn't got any either you sure that's not last late April

There is a chance that they could have been the Harpursville plow day, but I"m pretty sure it"s at Jackson"s Pumpkin Farm in Campville.

Nice 70! We have 4 now. Two have power steering, two don"t. The ones with pwr steering get assigned the jobs that require lots of turns.

Really like your Model 70; nice looking tractor.

We are in the process of getting all our 70's ready for Spring and Summer.

Our farm is in NE Texas about 70 miles SW of Texarkana.

Thank you! How many do you have? Gas, Dsl, Propane? Row Crop or Std.?
I someday will find a dsl Standard! Not alot of Standards in our area.

We have four 70"s.

"<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4L1GETbjFqM">Big John</a>" is a 55 diesel tractor.

"<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYxv_HsWGHg">Vernon</a>" is a 56 gas tractor.

All are row crop tractors.
