I can't believe it's sold

I've been very quietly and casually trying to sell the Case VA for about 2 years, and today a fellow called and agreed to buy it. I'm loading it up Tuesday and hauling it to him. Problem is, it powers my log splitter up here, so I'll be working overtime until Tuesday to get every log split. Long weekend indeed!
We've had Mr. Orange since 2000 and it's been quite handy around here, so it'll be weird not seeing it in the yard. All good things come to an end, I guess.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you insisted on visitation rights.

Mine would probably be the last thing to go.

I had no love for the original Wagner loader though. Too clumsy. Yours looks better balanced, stronger.

What's up with the shed next to the tractor? It looks old. Are you saving part or your family's history.Stan

For now I'll be banking the cash but alas, when we do invest in another machine it will likely be around 80hp. So unless a 970 fits the 'classic' handle...
I like the Case 400; I would always keep my eyes half open for one of those nearby, but for now there are bigger priorities.
Here are a few more shots of what Mr. Orange has done around here.

Thats a nice little tractor.Cute little driver, your top hand,I'm sure. How about a 730/830 Case? Those '30 seies Cases are some of the sharpest tractors around.

A friend of mine has a 930, and I kind of like it, once I figured out the shifter. That would be the smallest I'd probably go. Or an 870.
