still needing help getting a owners manual for a john deere 246/247 2 row planter.if anyone on here has one can you please send me a copy of it.

No help on the owners manual but the JD online catalog has a parts manual with diagrams of both. 43 pages so will take a few to download. David.................

thanks i got the parts manual.but having a hard time getting a copy of a owners manual.

What do you mean by "having a hard time getting a copy of a owners manual"?

DEERE has manuals available for darned near anything they ever made (of course, I'm sure there are exceptions).

ANYHOW, have you made a toll-free phone call directly to DEERE Techpubs to see if they can help you out? In case you didn't take a look in the archives here or check out the DEERE website, the Techpubs @ is 1-800-522-7448.

part number for manual @ deere is OMB25366 and it runs 30.00$ takes 7 to 10 working days to get because it is print on demand
