Ever since I got a tune up with plugs and wires on my 00 F-150 I get AM radio static. Little at idle but bad with high RPM. How do I fix this?

Make sure all wires are attached cleanly and tight.

Were the replacement plugs proper kind? (Resistor?)

WHAT engine? I thought the typical 4.6 and 5.4 had gone to "coil-on-plug" by 2000???? (Or was it 2001?)

Bob you are right on. 2000 what i have has coilpacks just like your picture. Think this calls for resistor plugs. Check antenna for continuity and leakage from center wire to ground. Or loose mount.
