Another use for GPS

I put my GPS on the 4320 to check my speed for planting corn and soybeans. Another use for this thing is to keep track of the miles for refilling the boxes. I refill the boxes with soybeans every 5 miles. Quicker than getting off and checking boxes or trying to remember how many rounds you have made.

Very practical uses! I was at a 3 mph tractor pull last summer. Some of the guys had a gps mounted above the steering wheel-BUT-they were always the one which got warned about speed, they were pushing it too hard! I found that one interesting...! Greg

Makes alot of sense to me too. Except in my case where I'm using a planter manufactured in 1945 and need to get off and check to make sure everthing is still working properly anyway.

I did the same thing on my sprayer it was a lot more accurate than using the numbers off of the tach on our 66 series. Worked great never thought of keeping track of the miles so I know how far I can Spray
