I was at the land today when a truck showed up looking for machine that was working. It was from the company whose operator almost got caught in the fire. The guy did say that the operator is OK and that he only made it because he was able to get to a cleared part of the track. Apparently the guy that sent the Cat's in got disoriented himself in the smoke. From what the I heard a couple days ago and from the driver in the truck today, the guy was fired. As he should be. The guy also gave me a hat. They have some big smouldering peat sections to dig up and soak. They figure it could take a month to get all the hot spots. Dave
