OT: Kansas Weather

Looked at the radar at 8 this morning before heading out the door, nothing clear to the NE border. 4 hours later, after getting the swather ready to go to the field, I am sitting in the kitchen watching that Ne storm out the window.....the myth is true, if you dont like the weather in Ks, wait 5 minutes....on the positive its probably 15 degrees cooler

Well keep the rain in your area. We are going to open a field with the combine and get ready to bind wheat for the K&O Show in Aug. Sun is still out and hotter than ----. Good harvest weather.

Where and what days is the K&O show in August? Tractors only or engines too?

Headed to the Lathrop Antique Tractor and Engine Show. Tractor parade is at 1:00. Closer we got the worse the weather - even seen some large trees/branches across the road - so we turned back. Now it is clearing up and the humidity is rising like storm.

The calendar I see isn't showing a listing for any upcoming events. My guess is that the site just needs information added to it.

After 28 years I suppose they might stop having it but I doubt it.

Perhaps a call to a club officer would be in order.

We are feeling pretty good, only got over 4 inchs in the last 6 days and a ways to go on planting yet. Lots of corn broke over because of the storm this morning.
