We got another 2 1/2 inches this morning ... in parts of Iowa { north } places got up to 6 inches and strong straight WINDS ...
More coming tonite and Sunday .... I live by .. Red Rock Lake ... it is letting out 40,000 cfm ... it's over 80% full .. said in a week it will be over 90% .. { it's the largest man made lake in Iowa }
Back in 93 ... it was in the 90% full .. had to do some major flooding down stream ...

Ain't good. 5 inches yesterday, quite a bit tonite, strong winds both nites, funnel clouds both nites.

Less than 2 inches in the last 2 months. Send some of that rain east. Been watering the garden. Lawn is turning brown. I don't water it. Hal
 
Send some my way too. NO measureable rain in june and average temp 6 degres above normal. Corn has lost 30 percent and beans are looseing leaves.

If I remember right .. the weather guy said theres ONLY been 4 days it hasn't rain here .. this was last week ... this coming week it is suppose to be SUNNY for 5-6 days straight .. hi's in the 80's ...
Been getting close to the 90's and humity high also ... { heat index in the 100's }
grass keeps growing .. needs mowing .. when it's not raining ... it's Sunday today so it will wait another day ...

Here in northern Cherokee county, had 1.8 inches Friday night, and another 4.5 inches Saturday night. It would be nice to space it out a little better.
