that brand new disc blades can roll over a corn stalk and not even cut thru them, but an old rusty piece of a disc blade can cut completely thru a brand new 8 ply tire and tube on the front of my backhoe???? its a conspiracy i tell ya!!!

actually, my neighbors son. he and a friend of his decided to junk a bunch of old machinery in their woods, so he was running the loader to cut a road in there. i did discover that a 4020 with a du-all loader and my minnie back hoe can lift an f-30 up out of the mud and carry it out of the woods!!

I don't know why but I ran over the A I beam with my small utility trailor 5'X8' and split a brand new 14" tire wide open. Tire was load Range "D". I guess just cought it right, and it always happends when you "Don't have time for such nonsence.

Used to have to hack off the treads of an old tractor tire with a machete. For auguring seed into the bins. I'd always try to keep it as shiny and sharp as possible..it was still hard work. Maybe if I'd left it out in the rain...
