I recently bought a 55 farmall 100, worked 100% for a week or so then all of a sudden i start getting some small puffs smoke, not sure if its blue or white its so fine, but its only happening when the hydraulics are working. even then it seems to do it more if its under a heavier load, still not enought that is should be under serious stress. Since this is my first farmall, i have no idea what this means. Any clue anybody?

Your engine probably needs an overhaul..Sorry to be the bearer of bad news , but blow-by is the result of worn piston rings..Compression is leaking past the rings and pressurizing the crankcase causing a "steaming or smoking" coming from crankcase breather/filler cap....If it runs well , and money's tight ..I'd consider replacing only the rings and maybe bearings..It's not rocket science , but you need an average knowledge of engines to do this..

I have an old A with a belly mower. When it gets hot it does that.Been doing it for 10 years. Keep it full of oil and it will run a long time.
That's what that cap is made for.
Run it till you get the cash for new rings.
