O/T: Farm story websites?

I wonder if some of you folks could help me locate some websites with stories I can read to my children about growing up on farms, etc. We've got several on the bookshelf they enjoy, but I was kind of interested to find something fresh. One book that we've read a lot is entitled "Once Upon a Farm" by Bob Artley.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

You don't have to go anywhere else! There are a zillion tractor stories in this web-site.
Check out: "Your stories" under the "Community" heading, in the side bars. All good clean tales of things and stuff, guaranteed to make the kids say:"WOW!"

Ralph Moody was born in 1898 and spent time on ranches and farms during the horse era. Over the years he wrote a series of books that are mostly considered autobiographies rather than ficton.

The first of the series is "Little Britches" and begins with the family moving to Colorado to a ranch for the dads health in 1906 when Ralph was a little boy.

Later ones are after WWI, with two of them with him living in far NW Kansas. In "On the Dry Divide" he tells in detail of cutting wheat with header barge.

He is a master author and you feel like you are there with him as he tells the story of the events that occur.

I highly recommend you read all of them. I first heard them as a boy in the 1950 and read all of them about once a year. I don"t do that with any other books at all.
