Just would like to know why the tractors have all there controls on the right side ? Then j& m makes grain carts with the augers coming out the left side sure makes it harder to use .Does any body one coming out the right side of the cart ?

Sounds familiar, last summer I ran a Killbros with the auger on the left, remote levers on the left, JD 4440, I suppose it may be a tad easier, because the smaller Killbros we used for fertilizer was on the right. I dunno you just have to use care once whatever you are loading is getting close to full figuring in whats left in the pipe, you need good hand eye coordination that is for sure.

well, most combines have alger on left side. so carts are on left, and yeah I used a white 4-210 to run the alger wagon. yeah I run it on rightside and look on left never had a problem just put something on so know what am touching.

I don't understand your problem,I run a friends 4440 and J&M cart when I help him and have no problems taking grain on the go from his 9500. Why would you want the unloading auger facing the auger on the combine?

Considering that we always have the augar folded when not in use, there is no reason it couldn't be on the other side. I am the wagon guy and rarely spill any. You need to run it enough so you don't need to look at the controls when you run them. The controls are grouped for your right hand so you can steer with your left. Have you ever ran a 1486 or whatever number older IH with levers all over the cab? That'll give you tennis elbow after a day if you need to run them all a bunch!

I have the first hyd. lever so when I pull it back it raises the grain gate and shuts off the flow when I push it ahead. The second lever folds the augar out when I move the lever ahead. This way if you have to shut the flow down in a hurry and bump the second lever ahead you don't open the augar while it is running.

Operating a cart well is a hard job to do right and get the load centered in the truck. I don't have a remote camera or directional spout to help either.....

Makes it harder to do this. But I understand what you"re saying!

Don't know if this helps but I worked for a guy and he tied a string on the auger that hung strait down when you were the correct distance from truck it would be just touching.Set up your mirror and you don't have to strain right to see left.
