Don't you just hate it when you KNOW you have something laying around but for the life of you ya can't find it when you need it.
I KNOW I've got 2 sets of injector lines around here somewhere and can't find either set.
Grrr.
End of rant now.
I think I'll go out and kick the dog.
 

Mom always said "look where ya figger it aint". Or just go buy new ones, that's the quickest way to find them. That's about a daily occurance around our place. I's gots CRS........

If you kick him he won't help you find them and that'll just make you feel bad. Suggestion, look for something else and you'll find them.
 
exactly what I told another guy on another forum.

He was looking for tape measures he knew he had . I told him to look in tool box for Phillips head screw driver, and none would probably be in there so I said go look for one -- He has found 3 out of 5 tape measures --- LOL
 
I have been pulling my hair out trying to find my roll of solder and my multimeter. I have my soldering iron. It was exactly where it was supposed to be... This has been going on for a week. There is an 8 and a 9 year old in the house, but they profess innocence.

I'm he!! on tape measures.............. Always get 5 meter ones at the BB stores for a buck. Bet I have 20 of them around and never can find one when I need it. If I do happen to run across one, I put it where I know I'll find it when needed............ Let's not go there.
 
I wonder how they got there?
I need to check under my pillow more often.
Found both sets of lines, those inner tubes I lost awhile back, the vegetable peeler and a box of shot gun shells.
No wonder i've meen waking up with a sore neck.
Now where's that 11/16" wrench...
 
Why kick the dog? He didn't put them up for you so you wouldn't lose them. Sit down and talk to the dog and maybe he'll tell you where you put them.

cant ever find a phillips screw driver...

can ever find a pair of wire cutters..

so when I go into town, I buy a bunch and "flood the market" so to speak..

There's got to be an squirrel or monkey or something hiding my tools..

its kind of like socks... every week one disapprears, and one comes back...
 
I hate when that happens!

Couple of weeks ago, I was mounting a tire and wanted to use some bead sealer. I've always kept a quart can in the same spot on the same shelf, and it wasn't there. I wound up driving five miles to O'Reilly's for another can. Never have found the one that was supposed to be on the shelf and wasn't.
 
Multiplying tape measures

Looked in the little hollow by my seat for a tape measure didnt find one, went inside the house and got one.

When got t where I was going - I now had 4 tape measures in the little hollow - 3 big ones and one small one...lol
 
Bought an extra set of tire blocks (chocks to some) and put them away in the shop. That was 4 yrs ago, still haven't found them.
 
I have never been able to understand this. If I go to get a flat head screwdriver, All I can find are phillips. If I need a phillips, all I can find are flatheads. Happens EVERY time!!
 
I bought 6 6" crescent wrenches and 6 of the 4 in one screwdrivers one day. put one of each in each vehicle, set in the tractor, set on the quad,
set in the toolbox in the workshop, and a set in a drawer in the house. Wanna know how long I search when I need one????????????
